The Raymond P. Bello Ergonomics & Technologies Group

The Raymond P. Bello Ergonomics & Technologies Group provides its clients, both individual and corporate, with the level of expertise that B.E.S.T. has provided them over the years. The work of this division is threefold: Industry/Office Ergonomics, Home Modifications, and Assistive Technology.

In the workplace, Ray envisioned an environment where both industrial and office workers could work safely. Through B.E.S.T.'s work with over 100,000 office workstations and 1,600 industrial worksites, we have been able to provide companies and their individual workers with knowledge, products, and services to help integrate equipment and job functions more effectively, reduce the risk of potential injury, and decrease insurance premiums and worker dissatisfaction. The B.E.S.T. Ergonomics and Technologies team is multidisciplinary, thereby blending knowledge of engineering, technology, and ergonomics, as well as physical and occupational therapy, to provide no cost or low cost solutions to a company's high-tech problems.

Over the years, B.E.S.T. has worked with thousands of individuals with disabilities and seniors to create a living environment where they could move about their homes more easily and enable them to choose to remain in their homes rather than move into an institutional facility.

Along these lines, B.E.S.T. also addresses the obstacles that individuals with disabilities face in the workplace, so that they can work comfortably and productively. Ray and Susan developed four products which help workers of specific professions work without pain. The ReportIt™, created for Court Stenographers, is one such product. Through BEST's Assistive Technology Evaluations, B.E.S.T. helps disabled individuals overcome their disabilities as they relate to competing on an even basis with their non-disabled peers in the workplace and at school. B.E.S.T.'s goal is to "Level the playing field" with computer based assistive technology, assessment services, and training.
